Osnovna škola Ivana Gorana Kovačića Gornje Bazje je javna ustanova koja pruža obvezno obrazovanje za djecu u dobi od 6 do 15 godina. Nastavni plan i program obuhvaća širok spektar predmeta, poput jezika i književnosti, matematike, prirodoslovlja, društvenih znanosti, umjetnosti, tjelesnog odgoja i stranih jezika. Naša škola nije samo mjesto za obrazovanje, već i prostor za oblikovanje vrijednosti koje vode naše učenike kroz njihov osobni i intelektualni razvoj.
U školi radi oko 50 zaposlenika od čega je 35 učitelja. Trenutno školu pohađa oko 170 učenika, podijeljenih na razrednu nastavu (1. – 4. razred) i predmetnu nastavu (5. – 8. razred). Nastava se održava u matičnoj školi i još četiri područne škole. Škola ima razne dodatne specijalizirane prostore poput informatičke učionice, prirodoslovnog praktikuma, sportske dvorane i sjajno uređene i opremljene školske knjižnice, a posjeduje i školsku kuhinju i blagovaonicu.
Naši programi
Školska godina u Hrvatskoj obično počinje početkom rujna i završava sredinom lipnja. Podijeljena je u dva polugodišta. Učenici pohađaju nastavu pet dana u tjednu, od ponedjeljka do petka. Nastava se odvija u jutarnjoj smjeni, a svaki školski sat traje 45 minuta. Dnevni raspored uključuje doručak, nastavne sate uz kraće odmore između sati i dužu pauzu za ručak.
U sklopu projekta cjelodnevne škole, naša ustanova sudjeluje u reformi hrvatskog školstva koja uključuje dodatnu obrazovnu podršku.
Lokacija i povijest
Osnovna škola Ivana Gorana Kovačića Gornje Bazje smještena je u mirnom, ali inspirativnom okruženju Gornjeg Bazja, malog mjesta u Općini Lukač. Uz matičnu školu postoje i područne škole u Dugom Selu Lukačkom, Lukaču, Turanovcu i Terezinom Polju.
Organizirano obrazovanje u Gornjem Bazju započelo je 1864. godine, izgradnjom prve školske zgrade koju je podigao plemić Janković. Sadašnja zgrada otvorena je 1965. godine, a obnovljena 2002. godine.
Zahvaljujući financiranju u sklopu programa cjelodnevne škole, poboljšali smo uvjete rada obnovom kompletne infrastrukture i opremanjem učionica potrebnim priborom i opremom.
Naša obrazovna filozofija
U našoj školi veliku važnost pridajemo motivaciji učenika i osobnom iskustvu. Unutarnja motivacija, kako učenika, tako i učitelja, naš je glavni prioritet. Vjerujemo da je škola mjesto na kojem učenici i učitelji kontinuirano uče.
Nudimo bogat i raznovrstan obrazovni program koji je usmjeren na razvoj svih dimenzija učenika – intelektualne, emocionalne, socijalne i psihofizičke. Naš plan rada obuhvaća, uz redovitu nastavu, i aktivnosti koje omogućuju učenicima da se izraze u različitim područjima, uključujući sport, umjetnost, jezičnu i matematičku pismenost.
Osim toga, naš školski program uključuje i razmjenu iskustava kroz međunarodne projekte kao što su Comenius i Erasmus+, omogućujući učenicima da prošire svoje horizonte, upoznaju druge kulture i razvijaju vještine suradnje i globalnog razmišljanja.

Školski moto „Škola stvarnoga znanja“ odražava našu predanost obrazovanju koje nadilazi tradicionalno razumijevanje učenja, promovirajući praktično, iskustveno i trajno znanje. Naš je cilj pripremiti učenike za život kroz suvremen pristup obrazovanju i odgoju, utemeljen na nacionalnim i tradicionalnim vrijednostima specifičnima za našu zajednicu.

Međunarodna suradnja
Posebno smo posvećeni međunarodnoj suradnji i uspostavili smo partnerstva sa školama u nekoliko europskih zemalja. Naša škola sudjelovala je u brojnim razmjenama učenika i ugostila učitelje iz inozemstva. Kroz Erasmus+ jačamo europsku dimenziju, unapređujemo obrazovnu praksu i gradimo održiva prekogranična partnerstva. Otvoreni smo za daljnju međunarodnu suradnju i rado ćemo se povezati s partnerima koji dijele našu viziju progresivnog, na učenike usmjerenog obrazovanja.

Who We Are
Primary School Ivana Gorana Kovačića Gornje Bazje is a public institution that provides compulsory education for children aged 6 to 15. The curriculum includes a wide range of subjects such as language and literature, mathematics, natural sciences, social sciences, the arts, physical education, and foreign languages. Our school is not only a place of education but also a space where values are shaped to guide our students through their personal and intellectual development.
The school employs around 50 staff members, including 35 teachers. Currently, about 170 students attend our school, divided into lower primary (grades 1–4) and upper primary (grades 5–8). Classes are held at the main school and four branch schools. The school boasts a variety of specialized facilities such as a computer lab, science lab, sports hall, and a well-equipped and modern school library, as well as a school kitchen and dining hall.
Our Programs
The school year in Croatia typically starts in early September and ends in mid-June, and it is divided into two semesters. Students attend school five days a week, from Monday to Friday. Classes take place in the morning, with each lesson lasting 45 minutes. The daily schedule includes breakfast, lessons with short breaks between them, and a longer lunch break.
As part of the Full-day school project, our institution is participating in the Croatian education reform that includes additional educational support.
Location and History
Primary School Ivana Gorana Kovačića Gornje Bazje is located in the peaceful and inspiring environment of Gornje Bazje, a small village in the Municipality of Lukač. In addition to the main school, there are branch schools in Dugo Selo Lukačko, Lukač, Turanovac, and Terezino Polje.
Organized education in Gornje Bazje began in 1864 with the construction of the first school building by the nobleman Janković. The current school building was opened in 1965 and renovated in 2002.
Thanks to funding from the Full-day school program, we have improved working conditions by renovating the entire infrastructure and equipping classrooms with necessary tools and materials.
Our Educational Philosophy
At our school, we place great importance on student motivation and personal experience. Intrinsic motivation—of both students and teachers—is our top priority. We believe that school is a place where both students and teachers are constantly learning.
We offer a rich and diverse educational program aimed at developing all dimensions of the student—intellectual, emotional, social, and psychophysical. In addition to regular classes, our work plan includes activities that allow students to express themselves in various areas including sports, arts, language, and mathematical literacy.
Furthermore, our school program includes international exchanges through projects such as Comenius and Erasmus+, enabling students to broaden their horizons, get to know other cultures, and develop cooperation skills and global thinking.

The school motto “Real Knowledge School ” reflects our commitment to education that goes beyond traditional learning, promoting practical, experiential, and lasting knowledge. Our goal is to prepare students for life through a modern approach to education and upbringing, grounded in national and traditional values specific to our community.

Wer wir sind
Die Grundschule Ivana Gorana Kovačića Gornje Bazje ist eine öffentliche Bildungseinrichtung, die die schulpflichtige Ausbildung für Kinder im Alter von 6 bis 15 Jahren bietet. Unser Lehrplan umfasst eine breite Palette von Fächern, darunter Sprache und Literatur, Mathematik, Naturwissenschaften, Sozialwissenschaften, Kunst, Sportunterricht sowie Fremdsprachen. Unsere Schule ist nicht nur ein Ort des Lernens, sondern auch ein Raum zur Entwicklung von Werten, die unsere Schülerinnen und Schüler auf ihrem persönlichen und intellektuellen Weg begleiten.
An unserer Schule sind rund 50 Mitarbeitende tätig, darunter 35 Lehrkräfte. Derzeit besuchen etwa 170 Schülerinnen und Schüler unsere Schule, aufgeteilt in den Klassenunterricht (1.–4. Klasse) und den Fachunterricht (5.–8. Klasse). Der Unterricht findet im Hauptgebäude sowie in vier Außenstellen statt. Die Schule verfügt über spezialisierte Räume wie ein Informatikzimmer, ein naturwissenschaftliches Labor, eine Sporthalle und eine modern ausgestattete Schulbibliothek. Außerdem betreiben wir eine eigene Schulküche mit Speisesaal.
Unsere Programme
Das Schuljahr in Kroatien beginnt in der Regel Anfang September und endet Mitte Juni. Es ist in zwei Halbjahre unterteilt. Der Unterricht findet an fünf Tagen in der Woche statt – von Montag bis Freitag. Die Schülerinnen und Schüler werden im Vormittagsunterricht unterrichtet, wobei eine Schulstunde 45 Minuten dauert. Der Tagesablauf umfasst ein Frühstück, Unterrichtsstunden mit kurzen Pausen dazwischen und eine längere Mittagspause.
Im Rahmen des Projekts zur Ganztagsschule nimmt unsere Einrichtung an der Bildungsreform in Kroatien teil, die zusätzliche pädagogische Unterstützung umfasst.
Standort und Geschichte
Die Grundschule Ivana Gorana Kovačića Gornje Bazje befindet sich in der ruhigen und inspirierenden Umgebung von Gornje Bazje, einer kleinen Ortschaft in der Gemeinde Lukač. Neben dem Hauptgebäude bestehen Außenstellen in Dugo Selo Lukačko, Lukač, Turanovac und Terezino Polje.
Der organisierte Schulunterricht in Gornje Bazje begann bereits 1864 mit dem Bau des ersten Schulgebäudes, das vom Adligen Janković errichtet wurde. Das heutige Schulgebäude wurde 1965 eröffnet und im Jahr 2002 renoviert.
Dank der Finanzierung im Rahmen des Ganztagsschulprogramms konnten wir die Arbeitsbedingungen durch die Modernisierung der gesamten Infrastruktur und die Ausstattung der Klassenräume mit dem notwendigen Lehrmaterial und Geräten deutlich verbessern.
Unsere Bildungsphilosophie
An unserer Schule legen wir großen Wert auf Motivation und persönliche Erfahrungen der Schülerinnen und Schüler. Die innere Motivation – sowohl der Lernenden als auch der Lehrkräfte – hat für uns höchste Priorität. Wir sehen die Schule als einen Ort des kontinuierlichen Lernens für alle Beteiligten.
Unser reichhaltiges und vielseitiges Bildungsangebot zielt auf die Entwicklung aller Dimensionen unserer Schülerinnen und Schüler ab – intellektuell, emotional, sozial und psychophysisch. Neben dem regulären Unterricht fördern wir Aktivitäten, in denen sich die Schülerinnen und Schüler in verschiedenen Bereichen wie Sport, Kunst sowie Sprach- und Mathekompetenz entfalten können.
Darüber hinaus umfasst unser Schulprogramm auch den Austausch von Erfahrungen im Rahmen internationaler Projekte wie Comenius und Erasmus+. Diese ermöglichen es unseren Schülerinnen und Schülern, ihren Horizont zu erweitern, andere Kulturen kennenzulernen und Fähigkeiten zur Zusammenarbeit und zum globalen Denken zu entwickeln.
